Ten reasons for becoming a member of the
Fair Oaks Theatre Festival

1. Established: The Fair Oaks Theatre Festival began live theater productions some 218 years ago. This activity was developed by a fine group of dedicated volunteers, and has consistently provided quality entertainment to the community, and plans to do so in 2003 and beyond.

2. Low Cost Entertainment: Theater ticket prices continue to be maintained at a price to accommodate family entertainment budgets. However, the box office amounts to less than one-half the cost of providing live theater in our community. Your membership helps fill the gap.

3. Dedicated Staff: All administrative costs are provided by volunteer supervision. We have no paid staff, but rely on numerous volunteers to get the job done.

4. Volunteer Opportunities: Becoming a member of the Fair Oaks Theatre Festival opens the door to additional social and/or volunteer participation activities in a variety of community support events.

5. Social Events: The Fair Oaks Theatre Festival sponsors or participates in a series of unique community functions such as the St. Patrick's Day Dinner Social, Fair Oaks Fiesta, The Annual Summer Production, Safe Halloween, and Christmas In The Village with our annual production of "Winnie The Pooh".

6. Voting Rights: When you become a member you acquire voting rights in the yearly election of the members of the Board of Directors.

7. Newsletter: You are also entitled to have "In The Spotlight", our newsletter, which features a calendar of events, past events reports, future activities, and articles to better theater.

8. Local Benefits: Your membership money is used directly in the Fair Oaks community, and is designed as a means to generate a Quality Community Environment.

9. Discounts: Show your membership card at the box office, and receive $1.00 off a general admission ticket. Show your membership card at the souvenir booth, and get a free cushion rental.

10. It's Your Choice: Fill out our membership form and choose a contribution level that feels good to you. SMILE, you have just become a member of one of the most worthwhile organizations in Fair Oaks. Tell yourself this is the best thing you have done all year! WELCOME ABOARD!
