Tickets:

Q:   How do I buy tickets to a FOTF performance?
A:   Tickets can be purchased on-line, at local businesses, or at the box office. Instructions and links to online sales are on the Purchase Tickets page.

Q:   How do I know if tickets are still available for a performance?
A:   If a performance is sold out, a notice will be posted on the website.  If there is no notice posted, tickets are available for purchase at the box office of the Veterans Memorial Amphitheatre, which is open 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to Curtain time.

Q:   Why can’t I buy tickets online the afternoon of the performance?
A:   Online purchase of tickets for each day’s performance close early afternoon to give volunteers time to process the ticket sales prior to the performance.  You can still purchase tickets at the door, or during business hours at local businesses listed on the Purchase Tickets page.

Q:   If I am having difficulty purchasing a ticket, who can I contact?
A:   The FOTF has a phone number where you can leave a message and a volunteer will get back to you.  Call 916.966.3683.  The Backstage Box Office phone number is 916.967.7905.  You can also reach the FOTF by email at: info@fairoakstheatrefestival.org

Q:   FOTF has discounts for seniors.  What is the age threshhold?
A:   Anyone over the age of 55 qualifies for the senior discount.  Tickets are $15.  Occasionally, there are special performances where discounts do not apply.  They will be announced on the website.

Q:   Are there other discounts?
A:   Unless exceptions are announced, such as New Christy Minstrels shows, Sunday night tickets for adults are $12; tickets for children 12 and under are $6.  Students and SARTA members receive the same discounts on Fridays and Saturdays as Seniors ($15).

Q:   Are there discounts for groups?
A:   With the exception of New Christy Minstrels shows, special rates are available for groups of ten – including families, organizations, clubs or businesses.  Ticket prices for groups of 10-25 are @ $13 per person.  For groups of 26 or more, tickets are $11 each.  All group tickets must be purchased at one time by one person.  Please note that FOTF cannot hold seats on any night for any group, because of our open seating policy.  However, members of a group may hold seats on any show night after the house opens, until 10 minutes before curtain time.  Please contact Group Sales Coordinator Steve Sogard at sjsogard@aol.com.  Group tickets may also be purchased at the business locations mentioned on the Purchase Tickets page.

Facilities:

Q:   What kind of seating is available?
A:   The Theatre has bench seating.  Guests may rent cushions, or bring their own.

Q: Is the Amphitheatre accessible for wheelchairs?
A:  Yes, there is space provided for guests in wheelchairs and the Theatre is accessible.

Q:  Is there reserved seating available?
A:  No, we have an open seating policy.  Groups may hold seats up to 10 minutes before curtain time.

Q: Are there restrooms?
A: Yes, one of our recent renovations included bathroom facilities for men and women.

Q: Are food and drinks available in the Theatre?
A: Yes. We have a full snack bar with  snacks, popcorn and water and other beverages.  Our drinking fountain is equipped to dispense cold water and is free to all.

Q: Can we bring in our own food and drinks?
A: No.  You may not not bring any food or drink into the amphitheatre for any performance.  The only exception is prescription medication needed to be taken during the performance.
