This R-Rated raucous musical comedy takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the hysteria that ensues when clean-cut kids fall prey to the dreaded “marihuana” during the 1930’s. The addictive and clever musical numbers range from Broadway-style show-stoppers to period swing tunes.

An original adaptation begun by our late Artistic Director Bob Irvin and completed by Fair Oaks alumnus Jennifer Longo, our re-imagined version of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew is set in Paris of the 1930’s against the backdrop of competing fashion houses and swinging jazz melodies. Join us for this high-fashion tale of boy meets girl, directed by our new Artistic Director, Beth Duggan.
