Auditions for the
Fair Oaks Theatre Festival Summer Season
THE PAJAMA GAME and THE DROWSY CHAPERONE
will be on April 28 at 2:00pm and April 29 at 7:00pm.

They will be held at the Amphitheatre in Old Fair Oaks.

The classic B’way musical comedy about labor and romantic relations in the
SLEEP TITE Pajama Factory of the 1950’s.

 

 Featuring the hit songs:
STEAM HEAT, HERNANDO’S HIDEAWAY, HEY THERE and SMALL TALK

Based on the novel   “7 1/2 Cents” by Richard Bissell

Rehearsals begin May 6/Show opens June 21

Runs FR/SA/SU thru July 21 (5 weekend run)

All ages and ethnicities welcome to audition

 

Many roles including:

Sid: New superintendant at the factory, strong, tough,  in love with Babe: sexy belter and the head of the grievance committee. Hines: comic executive and time study man in love with Gladys: secretary at the factory, comic singer and dancer. She is also admired by Prez who is a singing, dancing, woman – chasing factory worker. Mr. Hasler, the  Blustery Big Boss and his spirited wise cracking secretary, Mabel.  There are a great many singing and dancing solo opportunities for the large Ensemble.

 

Nothing to prepare.  Be ready to sing, dance (dress for comfort-no flip-flops) and read from the script
