2004 is the Fair Oaks Theatre Festival's 22nd season of presenting quality, affordable live theatre to the people of Fair Oaks and surrounding areas.
Our venue is the Veteran's Memorial Amphitheatre, an outdoor facility built in 1975. It is one of the last outdoor venues of its kind in the area.
This facility is going through major remodeling and upgrading. Some of the projects include:
| * | add new entry way to include the Dick and Jeanne Hill Memorial (COMPLETED) |
| * | Building a new ticket booth (COMPLETED) |
| * | Pouring the cement pads for the wing extensions for the stage (COMPLETED) |
| Projects Completed By This Summer | |
| * | Building a permanent snack-bar-control booth complex |
| * | Adding restrooms to the back of the theatre |
| Projects Still on the drawing boards, to be completed as money allows: | |
| * | Completing the remodeling of the stage area including the wings and roof extension |
| * | Installation of a new bridged lighting span with a catwalk |
| * | Replacement of the benches with stadium style seating |

To make all of this a reality, we need your help. The State of California and the County of Sacramento have already contributed $300,000 of the projected $500,000 it will take to complete the project. We are now asking you, the theatre goer, to make a special gift to help raise the remaining $200,000.
