Welcome to the Fair Oaks Theatre Festival

In 1971, a group of dedicated community volunteers founded the Veterans Memorial Amphitheater in the heart of the historic Fair Oaks Village.  12 years later, the Fair Oaks Theatre Festival was founded and the Veterans Memorial Amphitheatre provided the setting for the Theatre under the Stars – a theatre that has become both a community tradition and a regional asset.

Whether your interest is in acting, supporting the Theatre as a volunteer or donor, or simply attending a great show, we welcome you to the Fair Oaks Theatre Festival.

The most recent renovation is the state-of-the-art light bridge installed in September of 2008.  Click here for more photos, and here for the latest news on our progress and partnerships.

As interest levels and audiences at the Fair Oaks Theatre Festival continue to grow, it has become apparent that the production equipment and stage area need to be improved and expanded to meet today’s needs.  Visit the Theatre Renovation page and learn more about the programs that will benefit from these enhancements.
